Speculation, for the purpose of this wiki, is any notion that is not presented outright in official material. Examples of popular speculation about the show are:
- allegedly extremely subtle allusions
- the ponies' physiology
- the grade level of the characters
- the chronological age of the characters
- the familial relationships of background characters
...and much more.
The wiki may include such material providing it complies with the guidelines, specifically with Wikia's policies, and providing it is included in the speculation forum. Please sign your contributions in the forums.
An exception is made for placeholder names, which may be used for identification across the wiki when characters are not named in official material.
