Tara Strong is a voice actress for both series, My Little Pony Equestria Girls and Friendship is Magic. Her most prominent role in the series is being the speaking voice of both human and Equestrian versions of Twilight Sparkle.
Unlike most of the series' voice cast, who records their lines in Vancouver, Strong records all of her dialogue in her home studio in Los Angeles, with occasional trips to Vancouver to record with the rest of the cast.
Outside My Little Pony, Strong has done professional work in numerous films and television series, both live-action and animated. Among her most well-known voice roles include Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls, Timmy Turner and Poof in Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents, Raven in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, Melody in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, Ben Tennyson in Ben 10, Ilana in Sym-Bionic Titan, Dil Pickles in Rugrats and its spin-off All Grown Up!, the DC Comics character Harley Quinn in various animated and video game adaptations of the Batman franchise, Rikku in Final Fantasy X, X-2, and Kingdom Hearts II and Sari Sumdac, Red Alert, Strika, Slipstream and Teletraan I in Transformers: Animated. Most recently, Strong has been cast as Ashi in the fifth and final season of Samurai Jack, as Princess Unikitty in the TV series Unikitty! (a role originated in The Lego Movie by Alison Brie), and as Miss Minutes in the Marvel Studios television series Loki.
Strong also served as an executive producer for Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony.
